Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage (browser-side key/value storage) and sessionStorage. We use these to make the app work and, with your consent, to improve your experience.

3. What we do NOT use

Third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels
Cross-site tracking technologies
Browser fingerprinting
Social media tracking pixels
Any profiling or behavioural advertising

4. localStorage usage

We use localStorage (not cookies) for some preferences. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is never automatically sent to our servers — it stays entirely in your browser unless you choose to sync it. You can clear localStorage data via:

Your browser settings ("Clear site data")
Settings → Privacy → Clear local data (within the app)

5. Your controls

You can control cookies and similar technologies in several ways:

In-app consent banner: Shown on first visit. You can revisit consent choices in Settings → Privacy.
Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent login from working.
Analytics opt-out: Withdraw analytics consent in Settings at any time.

6. Updates to this policy

We will update this policy if we add new cookies or storage technologies. Changes are noted in the "Last updated" date above and communicated via in-app notice for material changes.
